Privacy Policy

How wc.doctor handles your information

Effective 18 October 2026. This page explains, in plain words, what is collected when you visit wc.doctor, who collects it, and what you can do about it.

Who we are

wc.doctor is a website of plain guides to the medical side of a workers' compensation claim. We are not a medical provider. You can reach us at info@wc.doctor with any question about this policy.

What is collected automatically

  • Server logs. Our host, Vercel, keeps standard server logs that can include your IP address, the page you asked for, your browser type and the time of the request.
  • Google Analytics 4. We use Google Analytics to see which pages are read. It records the page, the site you came from, your browser, your device type and your approximate location worked out from your IP address. Google Analytics sets cookies in your browser to do this.
  • GetClicky. The site also loads Clicky, a second analytics service, which counts visits and page views in a similar way.

Advertising and Google AdSense

The site uses Google AdSense to show ads once Google approves it. Google and its partners use cookies and similar technologies to serve and measure ads, including personalized ads based on your previous visits. Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on a user's prior visits to this and other websites.

You can read how Google uses data from sites that use its partners' services at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites. To opt out of personalized ads, use Google Ads Settings or aboutads.info/choices.

Visitors in the European Union and the United Kingdom see a consent message where the law requires one.

Ads on this site are not medical advice, and showing an ad is not an endorsement of the advertiser, its product or its service.

Cookies

Cookies are small files that a website stores in your browser. The analytics and advertising services above use them. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, and most browsers let you block third-party cookies only. If you block cookies, the site still works, but some analytics and ad features may not.

No accounts, no forms

wc.doctor has no accounts and no forms. The site itself collects no names, email addresses or health information. If you email info@wc.doctor, we use your message and address only to reply. Please do not send medical records or claim details.

Links to other sites

Our pages link to other sites, such as state workers' compensation agencies, a store and YouTube. Those sites have their own privacy policies, and we do not control what they collect.

Children

wc.doctor is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, laws such as the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) and the European Union General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) may give you the right to ask what personal information is held about you, to have it corrected or deleted, and to object to some uses. To make a request, email info@wc.doctor. Because we hold no accounts, most of the data about your visit sits with the analytics and advertising providers named above, and we will point you to the right one.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we will post the new version on this page and update the effective date at the top.
